MS Outlook Help and Support

Microsoft Outlook is personal information software. Outlook can be used to organizes and send e-mail, server as an address book for your clients and business associates, and help with productivity by using outlook’s calendar features.

Outlook is configured in one of two ways. The first is in standalone mode. When Outlook is configured in standalone mode it will be configured for POP3 e-mail and local calendaring and contact information. The second way, which Outlook can be configured, is to configure it to be a client to an exchange server. When Microsoft outlook is configured to access an exchange server it will probably using a share address book know as the Global Address Book.
